James Hart is the Founder and Chief Gallery Curator of The Hart Gallery—a photography brand rooted in the belief that your life deserves a gallery.
The concept was born more than a decade ago, long before The Hart Gallery became a formal brand. What began as a personal creative idea eventually found its first public expression as a hashtag associated with James’ own wedding—a simple phrase that captured a larger philosophy: the moments that shape our lives deserve to be documented, preserved, and celebrated.
Over the years, that philosophy continued to evolve alongside James’ passion for photography. In 2026, The Hart Gallery was formally established as a brand, bringing together his creative vision and a commitment to creating photographs that feel intentional, refined, and timeless.
James approaches photography not simply as a way of capturing what something looked like, but as a way of curating how it will be remembered. From intimate portraits and personal milestones to organizational events and professional imagery, every assignment is approached with care, preparation, and an eye for the details that make a moment meaningful.

How far in advance should I book a session?
We recommend reaching out at least four to six weeks ahead of your desired date to ensure availability and allow time for collaborative planning. However, we do accommodate last-minute projects when our schedule permits.
Do you offer customizable packages?
Absolutely. Each project begins with a consultation where we discuss your objectives, preferred style, and logistical needs. From there, we craft a package that fits both your vision and budget.
When and how will I receive my images?
Final, retouched images are delivered via a secure online gallery within two to three weeks of your session or event. High-resolution downloads and print options are included, with invoices issued upon delivery.
